Holby City actor John Michie has paid tribute to his daughter following her death at Bestival.
Louella Michie’s body was found after both her parents reportedly rushed to the site after becoming concerned about her safety.
Her 60-year-old father told The Sun: “We’ve lost our angel. She touched so many lives.
“She was so very positive, so bright, so out there. She had such energy. The tributes to her have been incredible.”
A 28-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the 25-year-old at the Dorset music festival in the early hours of Monday morning.
John Michie’s fellow Holby City colleagues paid tribute to Louella, Chizzy Akudolu writing on Twitter: “A good mate just lost his daughter. I can’t imagine what he and his family are going through. Life man. Tell someone you love them. Do it now.”
Louella’s Facebook profile details that she went to Tiffany Theatre College in Essex and was based Miami Beach, Florida, for some time before moving to London.
In a statement, Bestival said: “Following today’s news announcement, the team at Bestival are devastated to hear about this tragic news.
“We continue to support the police in their ongoing investigation and our thoughts and prayers are with all the woman’s family and friends.”
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Derbyshire said that enquiries were underway to establish how she died, while specially trained officers were supporting her family.
“Following the discovery of the woman’s body we have now launched an investigation into her death.
“A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course and this should give us more of an indication as to the cause of her death.
“We are working closely with the festival organisers and I would appeal to anyone with any information about the incident to contact Dorset Police.”
